Job Description Summary

The Director or Senior Director of Global IT Risk Management will serve as the leader of GTS IT Risk Management function within the Group Non-Financial Risk Management Team. This person will ensure risk considerations are in place and practiced across the company; oversee the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key risks for the business and technology landscape. In addition they will manage relationships with senior level business and technology partners to effectively manage the company’s risk profile.

Responsibilities

• Full oversight and leadership of a GTS IT Risk Management team, including responsibilities and ownership of end-to-end risk management activities.
• Consult on risk matters that require complex judgment and resolutions with company executive leadership teams.
• Lead discussions/presentations at all levels of the organization, and communicate information on risk matters to senior management.
• Key contributor to the development of IT risk strategy and annual setting of goals and objectives.
• Ownership and development of the quarterly risk profile in the respective functional area.
• Own relationships with key executive stakeholders to drive and embed an enhanced risk culture.
• Lead risk management activities in major business and technology initiatives.
• Use subject matter expertise to challenge current process design and identify areas for improvement; recommend changes to support policies, procedures, and control execution to increase efficiency and quality.
• Oversight of risk issue management activities, including risk identification, root cause analysis, action plan status monitoring, and reporting of outcomes to management.
• Use subject matter expertise to challenge process owners during the development of action plans to assess adequacy of actions taken by management.
• Provide training on IT risk management tools and techniques to various levels within the company.
• Develop enhanced policies and procedures to ensure efficient risk coverage across the company.
• Own relationships with global operational risk management counterparts to share best practices and methodologies.
• Full oversight of company adherence to the Global Operational and IT Risk Management policy, framework, and the underlying activities (e.g. RCSAs, scenario analysis, KRIs, risk reporting).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field
• 12 years of experience in IT risk management or internal controls
