Collins Aerospace is looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to become a key member of our Mission Systems Billing team. In this role, you’ll take on a variety of accounting responsibilities, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and standards, particularly in general accounting and the general ledger.

This position offers extensive exposure to financial analysis and billing programs, providing you with the opportunity to apply and expand your expertise. You will not only be an integral part of the Mission Systems Billing team but also serve as a crucial liaison, working closely with other departments such as Contracts, Program Finance, Program Management, and Financial Planning and Analysis.

What You Will Do

• Performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
• Prepare and submit SAP Customer Billings for Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price, Progress Payments, Time and Material, and Shipment invoices for 2 Sites
• Prepare and upload detail of Various Billings in Vendor Portals for payment for Controlling area
• Validate Project costs to ensure accurate cost reimbursements and funding requirements
• Load and validate approved Government Provisional Billing rates with variable combinations from rate decks into SAP
• Perform Retro Rate billings
• Perform Contract closeouts per customer guidance
• Supported Internal and External (DCAA/DCMA/Internal) Audits
• Write and Publish Work instructions as needed.
• Prepare and present Monthly Billing Turn backs presentation to Management
• Assist in training and directing teammates with additional duty flow downs to department
• Perform CORE Dive processes when needed and present to higher management
• Assist and Test SAP Changes as requested
• Work with internal departments to maintain cash flow
• Assist in Quarterly reporting and Internal control documents

Qualifications You Must Have 

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
• Experience with SAP

Qualifications We Prefer

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and innovative problem-solving.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities, facilitating effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
• Microsoft Office Suite Experience
• Experience with various Government Billings with a contract specific support and/or within the aerospace industry.
• Aerospace Industry experience
