The Senior Manager, Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills and will be directly accountable for ensuring overall supplier performance. You must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management. You will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies and plans.
This MPM role will serve as the interface between Supply Chain and the Program Office/Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other various functions working on both development and production contracts. Key responsibilities include the following: earned value management, supplier material management, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, creating metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier assessments and future proposal activities.
What You Will Do
Strong Earned Value Management and financial management skills and participation in quarterly EACs and weekly material sales forecasting
Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries
Oversight of GSC proposal execution performance and reporting
MRP support and production alignment in support of Operations execution
Use critical thinking skills to propose sound and innovative business solutions to increase operational efficiencies to insure business area and program success.
Process information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcome
Have the passion and desire for continuous learning
Identify/Generate material R&Os in alignment with program execution
Responsible for Estimate at Completion (EAC’s)
Manage AOP including MFT and R&O, and program metrics across contracts.
Qualification You Must Have
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum seven (7) years experience.
Minimum eight (8) years experience in supplier management, project management, and/or program management.
Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools, including MRP (Kinaxis/ SAP/PRISM).

Qualifications We Prefer
Earned value management certification and experience
Prior experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function
Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project)
Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
