Warehouse AssociateWhat does a Warehouse Associate do at Fiserv:
As a Warehouse Associate on 1st shift at our Hazelwood location, you support print production by accurately managing inventory and material flow. You will work closely with warehouse and production teammates to receive, store, pick, and stage materials, helping ensure customer orders are produced and shipped accurately and on time. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety help us deliver reliable results to our clients.
What you'll do:
- Enter and update inventory information in the computer system with accuracy and timeliness
- Pick and stage materials for customer orders according to work orders and production schedules
- Ensure customer orders are prepared and shipped on time by coordinating materials and loading activities
- Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving using appropriate material handling equipment
- Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory, deliveries, and shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety rules and procedures
- Complete assigned warehouse tasks such as cycle counts, labeling, and material consolidation as directed
- Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary
Experience you'll need to have:
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment operating material handling or warehouse equipment
- Experience using computers for basic data entry in an inventory or warehouse management context
- Experience applying basic math skills (such as counting, addition, subtraction, and simple multiplication) to support inventory and shipping tasks
- Experience working in a role that requires standing for a majority of the shift and safely lifting up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Experience performing physical activities on the job such as reaching above shoulders, climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume production or printing environment operating warehouse equipment
- 1+ year of experience with inventory control and order picking processes
- Experience using forklift equipment and/or a current forklift certification, or equivalent training and experience
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity
- You will work an assigned schedule of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; Monday-Friday.
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
- This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
