The Role:

The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for supporting the overall daily operations of CerebralRx out of Cape Coral, Florida. You will provide exceptional customer service while building and optimizing operations. You have a deep understanding of the wide-ranging pharmacy industry. You communicate effectively and professionally. You require minimal supervision and always act with integrity. You thrive in a fast-paced working environment and are able to easily pivot and manage your workload. Most importantly, you are driven by a desire to advance the patient experience in the healthcare space.  

This position is a hybrid role working up to 40 hours per week (normal business hours). Applicants must be able to reasonably commute to the pharmacy in Cape Coral, Florida and must reside within the state of Florida. 

Who you are:

• You hold a Florida Board of Pharmacy technician registration that is active and in good-standing
• You have 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy environment
• Your home working environment is equipped with reliable internet access and is setup to ensure client privacy
• Additional preferred experience includes:
  • PTCB certification (CPhT) or equivalent
  • Mail-Order pharmacy experience
  • Central Fill pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with EnterpriseRx 
  • Familiarity with EMR systems 
  • Past supervisory or leadership experience

How your skills and passion will come to life at Cerebral:

• Own and support all remote prescription data entry for CerebralRx
• Manage on-site prescription data entry for CerebralRx
• Prepare and dispense prescription medications for patients
• Complete regular inventory management
• Successfully manage thoughtful and direct interactions with patients in-person, electronically, and over the phone with a customer-centric approach
• Provide strong communication and collaboration with prescribers and other supporting medical staff members
• Work proactively towards resolution of prescription related issues
• Proficiently manage navigation through proprietary EMR system
