Key Responsibilities:
- Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations, such as HIPAA.including FHIR standards.
- Data Migration and Management: Implement strategies to ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Customization: Understand business needs and convert to technical specs.
Core Responsibilities: -
· IIB: Experience in designing and developing enterprise application using IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), IBM MQ, IBM DB2, knowledge of Sterling file gateway.
· Experience in writing ESQL to handle message writing and transformation. Experience in integrating IIB with WTX (WebSphere Transformation Extender), processing XML messages and files.
· Writing scripts using Python and BASH
· Incident Management: Quickly respond to any failures or issues in the database and ETL processes, providing resolution within SLA.
· Troubleshoot Errors: Diagnose ETL errors or database failures, analyze logs, and apply fixes, as necessary.
· Data Quality Assurance: Monitor the data pipeline to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of ingested data.
· Data Validation: Check the quality and integrity of data in the production environment based on reported issue(s). Escalate data discrepancies or quality issues found during monitoring or user reports.
· Data Reconciliation: Assist in the reconciliation of data discrepancies and support the correction of data in case of ETL or database failures.
· Business Requirements: Ensure that the business requirements for data ingestion and quality are consistently met in the production pipeline.
· Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Provide detailed RCA reports for incidents, documenting steps taken for resolution and preventive measures.
· Job Scheduling: Maintain and update ETL job schedules using tools like Apache, SSIS.
· Performance Tuning: Perform routine optimization of ETL jobs and database queries to maintain optimal performance.
· Documentation: Maintain detailed runbooks and operational documentation to support troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
· Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to deploy changes to ETL pipelines and databases with minimal disruption.
