Senior Engineer

Seeking a Senior Engineer and Manager to lead Construction Inspection and Testing services in the North Jersey/New York City area. This is a direct hire position based out of East Hanover, NJ

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k!  

Salary is between $100,000 - $165,000 per year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Operational responsibility for construction materials testing laboratory.
• Manage Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing services in the field.
• Business development and proposals.
• Work with other project engineers, including geotechnical, structural and civil engineers.
• Manage projects and clients.
• Materials/systems includes:
  • Reinforced concrete
  • Bituminous concrete
  • Soils and aggregate
  • Structural steel
  • Engineered masonry
• Manage staffing with workload to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Staffing and personnel.
• Project management, including invoicing and accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
• EIT and/or PE license
• Related certifications, such as NJDCA, ACI, ICC, AWS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Critical thinking. Able to diagnose and solve problems.
• Capable with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Able to effectively manage multiple direct reports.
