Introduction to Role:

A Senior Scientist in the Evinova Endpoints team will be a subject matter expert on evidence generation and data management in support of existing and novel endpoints detailing the patient benefit of new medicines to contribute to the successful development and commercialization of new, innovative therapies and digital health solutions. The Scientist will be responsible for applying quantitative clinical programming for validation and exploratory analytics applied to data from biosensor/wearable data, clinical outcomes assessments (COAs), or any combination thereof, to inform identification and/or evaluation of symptoms, function, health-related quality of life, or other patient-centric concept of clinical benefit throughout the drug development lifecycle. Therapeutic areas will span oncology, cardiovascular, renal & metabolism, and Respiratory & Immunology, among others. The Scientist will be responsible for contributing to the development of a clinical data flow and management working in collaboration with product engineers. This includes but is not limited to contributing and executing analysis plans for evidence generation to inform clinical validity of endpoints. The role must work in partnerships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Strategy, Data Science, COA Measurement, Product) and external stakeholders, e.g., Global and Clinical Study Teams, and partners, to uphold patient-centricity, diversity and sustainability values and scientific rigor.

Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to workstreams by programming psychometrics/clinimetrics/statistics to generate evidence of patients’ experience with treatment throughout the drug development lifecycle. (e.g. psychometric performance of the instrument, sensitivity/specificity of signal detection, construction of novel endpoints).
  • Contribute to workstreams on clinical data flow and management.
