Manager – Senior Software Engineer

Design and develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, while leading front-end development initiatives with Angular and React to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. Define and implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, with workflow automation managed through Activiti BPM and Airflow for orchestration. 

• Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM for secure access management, and AWS Transfer Family for secure file transfers.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation, alongside implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, containerization with Docker, and following modern DevOps and cloud-native best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to high coding and architectural standards. 
• Work closely with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders in Agile environments to optimize system performance, ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, and troubleshoot complex production issues to deliver long-term, sustainable solutions. 
• Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Information Technology, Computer, or a related field plus eight (8) years of experience in Full stack development with strong backend expertise in Java. Five (5) years of experience with logging and monitoring tools, particularly Splunk; Four (4) years of experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases; Three (3) years of experience in building and consuming REST APIs, Postman for API testing and validation; Two (2) years of experience with front end technologies such as React or Angular; One (1) year of experience with SaaS architecture.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $190,000 to $195,000 per year.
