This position will be 20-25 hours per week. The schedule is Monday-Friday, but the hours can be flexible. Hybrid schedule with Tuesdays required in-office at our Operations Center in West Valley City.


Summary: Provides quality control over new accounts, loans, and file maintenance.

             

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Accurately and timely complete New Account QC, Loan QC, and/or Account Maintenance QC
  • Insure that operational procedures are accurately followed and accounts/loans/modifications are appropriately documented
  • Review any modifications for reasonability in an effort to detect any possible internal fraud
  • Report QC results/deficiencies to operational staff and management. Follow up on deficiencies. Specifically, insure that critical errors are resolved.
  • Create/Maintain procedures for QC function and coordinate QC follow-up procedures with operations staff
  • Answer phone calls and respond to e-mails promptly

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least six months of operational experience in new accounts and loans preferred; it is preferred that work experience be with DFCU so there is a general knowledge of DFCU systems and operations

  • Ability to research problems and respond with professionalism and so there is understanding and resolution to the question.
  • Strong attention to detail; good skills on follow-up and communication with credit union employees
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy

 

Computer/Software Skills:    

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn new software easily
  • Keyboard and 10-key skills
  • Temenos, Nautilus, and Tableau are used in this position, but prior knowledge is not required
