The Director of Insights & Analytics is responsible for all forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and reporting activities for Pinnacle Fit Clubs, LLC., a large, rapidly growing, private equity-owned Planet Fitness franchisee. The desired candidate will be responsible for leading our budgeting and forecasting processes, actual vs. budget/forecast reporting and analysis, and other non-financial reporting and analysis. The candidate will use this information, along with a deep understanding of club-level KPI’s and other internal/external drivers of performance, to enhance existing processes, provide insights about the business and make recommendations for improving results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Leads development and continuous enhancement of financial models, budgets/forecasts, and reports for organizational leaders to “tell the story” regarding performance and support short/long-term decision-making.
- Leads data strategy for the organization, and development of analytic tools and self-service reporting to deliver business insights to organizational leaders efficiently and effectively.
- Leads the vision and creation of all business performance measurement tools for the organization.
- Brings analytical rigor in support of all functions/customers, including Executive Leadership, Operations, Finance and Marketing (e.g. A/B test setup and measurement of promotion or marketing program results)
- Provides support, coaching, and training to assist in the career development of team members to support the growth of the business.
- Manages and cultivates an environment that encourages and empowers associates to be creative thought leaders and leverage data in all functions to evaluate performance and help make decisions.
- Effectively translates broader principles or the spirit of the guidelines / practices to the current situation and provides recommendations.
- Effectively anticipates the unintended consequences and broader impact of decisions.
- Builds and fosters relationships with the business, manages expectations and delivers results.

Qualifications
- MBA and/or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 10+ years of planning, forecasting, and data analytics experience
- Demonstrated strength in managing relationships and driving high-performing teams
- Effective oral and written communication skills
