Requisition Summary

The Warranty Auditor is responsible for auditing dealer claims, supplier recovery, auto approval programs, campaigns, and PACCAR Registration Warranty system backend tables and data. This position works directly with dealers, internal warranty department, and the management team to provide and execute regularly occurring audits. This role will require 50-75% travel to dealer locations across the United States and Canada.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Plans and executes audits designed to provide assessment of internal control processes and operational performance, in accordance with department standards and expectations.

  •  Effectively conduct data analysis to facilitate audit scoping and testing.
  •  Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of claim costs, SRT usage, campaigns, programs, dealer labor rates, and other needed areas.
  •  Develop or revise audit programs as needed.
  •  Lead meetings involving various levels of management to effectively communicate audit status, align on audit issues and recommended corrective actions.
  •  Prepare audit reports, including clearly written, concise audit observations that effectively communicate identified issues and their related corrective actions in both technical and non-technical terms to key stakeholders.
  •  Maintain complete knowledge of warranty procedures and assist in making updates

Skills/ Competencies

  •  
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience in accounting, internal/consulting audit, or business
  •  Strong mechanical repair knowledge – heavy duty truck or automotive preferred
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  •  Strong analytical skills. Proven history of analyzing data and situations to identify meaningful observations
  •  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  •  Fast learner with the ability to perform in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
  •  Ability to professionally interact with all levels of management and external business partners.
  •  Data analytics experience (specifically with SQL, Tableau, and Excel) is preferred
  •  Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time or higher as required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA/Master’s degree preferred
