About the Role

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of the test strategy and quality assurance efforts for our Trackman Broadcast Solution—a game-changing platform that powers professional tournament golf broadcasts around the world. Key Responsibilities
Testing Strategy & Ownership
Define, implement and continuously evolve the overall QA strategy for the Trackman Broadcast solution, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Drive a top-down, system-level testing approach, focusing on end-to-end validation of the broadcast ecosystem.
Establish best practices for manual and automated testing based on risk and business impact.
2. Production Environment Oversight
Maintain an overview of component versions deployed for each customer in production.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure proper version control and compatibility across deployments.
Identify and mitigate risks related to software updates and customer-specific configurations.
3. Test Automation & Efficiency
Automate tests where it provides real value, reducing repetitive manual effort while maintaining reliability.
Develop and maintain API, integration, and UI automation scripts (using cypress, and/or custom frameworks).
Continuously assess automation opportunities and advocate for ROI-driven test automation.
4. Manual Testing & Validation
Conduct manual testing when automation is not feasible, including working with a QA Golfer (simulated user) for real-world scenario validation.
Perform exploratory, regression, and performance testing to ensure system stability.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Planning
Work with Product Managers, Developers, and Project Managers to align testing with release cycles.
Communicate test progress, risks, and blockers effectively to stakeholders.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and risk assessment meetings.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior role (preferably in broadcast, IoT, or sports tech).
Strong background in system-level testing (hardware/software integration is a plus).
Experience in test automation (cypress) and CI/CD integration.
Ability to analyse production environments and troubleshoot versioning issues.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
(Bonus) Experience with Trackman systems, video streaming, or sports data analytics.
