Thanks to colleagues based in Europe, the United States and Japan, we translate immunology breakthroughs into a world-class portfolio of novel antibody-based medicines.  For the further expansion, argenx is looking for a Head of HR Developed Markets (DM) & Germany.
 

PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION


The argenx DM & Germany team covers all functions relevant for the successful commercial roll-out of the company’s assets in the region and our commitment to improving the lives of patients. This includes – but is not limited to - commercial, medical affairs, market access and patient advocacy activities.

Reporting to the Head of the HR Commercialization community, the primary role of the Head of HR DM & Germany will be to support the DM Leadership Team and their organizations on all people and talent related topics and to contribute to the strategic build-out of the organization in the argenx Way. The Head of HR DM & Germany will work in close collaboration with the global HR organization - including the global compensation/benefits and talent teams - to ensure successful and aligned organization design, talent development, talent acquisition, and HR operations in the DM & Germany region.
 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively consult and provide solutions to the business, related to people, talent, culture and organizational matters 

  • Develop and implement general employee experience strategies, policies, processes and programs across the business as we “Build The Company We Want to Work For”, and maximize team and individual potential

  • Partner with the business to identify, assess, select, reward and develop talent 

  • Bring relevant and business impactful HR solutions to the business 

  • Drive high quality levels in all HR operations, ensuring consistency and accuracy of processes, data and systems  

  • Advise on and influence the nature of HR programs, processes, policies, and service delivery based on the business environment / strategy 

  • Advise and bring best practices to the design and implementation of workforce and talent initiatives in conjunction with global HR colleagues and ensure alignment and support of business strategy and goals 

  • Identify business needs, diagnose issues, and help lead organizational change initiatives 

  • Involvement in global, multi-functional projects or task teams

  • Demonstrable experience with project management, proactive planning, priority setting, and securing alignment

  • Inquisitive naturally, a quick study, with demonstrated eagerness to continuously learn, self-improve and develop. This includes being comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a diverse environment.

  • Excellent IT knowledge including Microsoft Office. Experience of Oracle Cloud/Hyperion is a plus.

  • Strong analytical modeling skills

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

  • At least 15 years of experience in broad-based HR roles, including several years in (HRBP) leadership roles, preferably gained in dynamic or rapidly growing companies
