Sr. Manager, Business Support, Facilities and Engineering

The Role

We are currently on the lookout for a seasoned Sr. Manager of Business Support to spearhead our Facilities and Engineering (F&E) support teams. The aim is to perpetuate our trajectory of driving efficiency and performance throughout F&E operations. This pivotal role demands a candidate with no less than 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, accentuated with a robust background in engineering and operations. The ideal candidate will be distinguished by their ability to lead diverse teams, navigate complex project landscapes, and ensure the seamless functioning and reliability of plant utilities and infrastructure.

Here’s What You’ll Do

• Strategic Oversight: Direct the planning and scheduling teams responsible for process maintenance, calibration, and utilities within our expansive campus, spanning approximately 800,000 square feet.

• Compliance and Safety: Uphold adherence to company programs and policies, industry regulations, and safety standards to maintain a compliant and secure working environment.

• Operational Efficiency: Champion efficiency within maintenance and calibration teams, pinpointing bottlenecks and unlocking opportunities for enhanced performance.

• Performance Metrics: Formulate and implement operational metrics to track and achieve our targets for Preventive Maintenance (PM) Compliance, Spare part management, planning effectiveness, and Training.

• Work Order Management: Oversee the work order administration function, ensuring prompt review of work orders, system enhancement recommendations, and asset induction.

• System Coordination: Plan and execute system shutdowns, including annual utility shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional coordination with operations, Quality Control (QC), Technical Development, and supply chain to foster a collaborative work environment and streamlined processes.

• Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is required.

• Industry Experience: A minimum of 6 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Pharmaceutical Acumen: A profound understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.

• Leadership Excellence: Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.

• Project Management Prowess: Strong project management acumen, capable of juggling multiple projects without sacrificing quality or timelines.
