Riverside Research is seeking a Computer Scientist to help address national security challenges. GLIMPSE is an image-processing pipeline that calculates the geolocation coordinates of an uploaded image, using modules provided by external vendors. The person in this role will install, update, troubleshoot, and maintain GLIMPSE software pipeline capabilities on AWS client systems, including both unclassified and classified systems. Job Responsibilities:
Integrating vendor modules provided in a variety of formats, including binaries and Docker containers, into the GLIMPSE pipeline.
Troubleshooting and validating the performance of vendor-provided modules on AWS, using test cases provided by and/or relevant to the client.
Developing automated processing scripts in Python to facilitate and/or improve processing and connectivity throughout the pipeline.
Qualifications:
4+ years of related experience, including but not limited to:
Demonstrated experience in the following languages/skills:
Systems integration and engineering, AWS, Linux OS, Docker, Python
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Gitlab, REST APIs, JavaScript, NodeJS, Vue/Angular, HTML, CSS, Matlab, NiFi
Experience in data analysis
Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
HS diploma or GED and 19+ years of experience in OR Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience OR Master’s degree and 9+ years of experience
TS/SCI clearance with ability to complete CI polygraph.
