Business Intel Reports Developer

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work You’ll Do

As a PROJECT - Lead Analytics and Insights Engineer II on the Analytics and Insights team, you will be responsible for…

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, curated data sets, and semantic models that support reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
• Translate business and reporting requirements into scalable data solutions, including source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and validation rules.
• Develop and optimize SQL, Python, and platform-native transformations to improve data quality, processing efficiency, and usability.
• Partner with product owners, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver data products.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and documentation to support reliable, governed, and maintainable analytics assets.

Qualifications

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence engineering, or data warehousing
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence Reporting, Data Analysis, and/or Data Modeling
• 5+ years of experience working with ERP Systems, ideally Cognos
• Security+ Certified or be able to obtain certification
• Must have active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
