You will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity, quality, and security of our organization's data assets, also with a focus on AI/Gen AI aspects including compliance with the EU AI Act, DORA principles and VAIT.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Key responsibilities:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Take ownership, build &amp; maintain data governance framework including areas like data management, data quality, data maturity &amp; fitness.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish Data &amp; AI governance best practices.</li> <li>Ensure regular &amp; timely reporting of data assessment KPIs to data steering board &amp; senior management.</li> <li>Be an ambassador for data and promote data-driven culture &amp; data product mindset within the company.</li> <li>Conduct training &amp; mentoring sessions on data governance requirements &amp; standards for data engineers, data owners and data platform users.</li> <li>Conducting market research and staying up to date on industry trends and technologies.</li> <li>Communicating product vision, goals, and progress to stakeholders.</li> <li>Actively seeking customer and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve deliverables.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Qualifications/Key skills:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>University degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science or Data Science.</li> <li>More than 5 years professional experience in data and process management, leading global/cross-functional teams, managing mid or large size data programs.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, data product management, data security or in other similar roles.</li> <li>Knowledge of the EU AI Act, DORA principles, and VAIT guidelines, and their implications for data governance in AI and Gen AI contexts is a plus.</li> <li>Rich experience in executive stakeholder management.</li> <li>Strong technical background and knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Familiar with Agile development methodologies.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Soft skills:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills and fluency with the English language.</li> <li>You are a real team player.</li> <li>You embrace change and have a problem-solving mind-set.
