We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business and Client Services (BCS) team at Mercer. This role will be based in Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
As the Office Admin Manager, you will manage the integration of newly hired Office Admins into the workflow of the team. While overseeing services to ensure the efficient functioning of business support services and ensure compliance with established corporate standards.
We will count on you to:
- Assume the role of Office Admin for the designated office
- Coordinate the training schedule of new team members and help to integrate new members into the team.
- Manage workflow coordination for the team; sending out coverage notes to organize coverage as appropriate; delegate overflow work.
- Conduct mid- and year-end reviews for the assigned Office Admins in partnership with the Office Leader to facilitate staff development.
- Provide coaching to Office Admins to help them achieve their goals, improve performance, and develop new skills.
- Provide clear guidance to Office Admins regarding performance issues including conducting and enforcing disciplinary processes to enhance productivity and quality.
What you need to have:
- 5+ years of corporate administrative experience in a people manager capacity
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate and manage workflows effectively
- Experience in training and onboarding new team members
- Proven ability to provide coaching and development support
- Skilled in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback
