Status: Full-Time; Regular; Exempt
Location: LIC with travel, as needed, to other Fortune locations within NYC
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, subject to change based on program needs
Position Summary:
We are seeking to fill the newly created position of Director of Operation within Fortune’s rapidly expanding Behavioral Health division. The ideal candidate will have strong program management experience, with an emphasis on data analytics and trend analysis. The candidate will thrive within a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment and will be adept at managing the daily operational needs of the division, under the guidance of the Senior Director of Operations. This role will also include the supervision of one or more administrative and/or programmatic employees within the Behavioral Health division. The candidate will have demonstrated experience in thinking clearly, acting quickly and making correct decisions, obtaining and entering accurate information into centralized databases, and understanding the guiding principles of HIPAA compliance. Success in this position requires excellent organizational skills and an ability to toggle between priorities, always using the data to help drive the unit’s performance. Working knowledge of the NYS Healthcare system is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for day-to-day operational performance of the myriad contracts in the Behavioral Health division, under the guidance of senior management;

Exhibit in-depth knowledge of each contract’s deliverables and conduct weekly checks with program management and the data team to ensure metrics are performing at, or towards, goal. Notify supervisor by mid-month of any potential issues, along with possible solutions to remedy underperformance;

Identify and nurture both internal and external referral partnerships that will positively impact contractual goals, drafting LOIs or linkage agreements as needed;

Attend monthly/quarterly meetings with contractors and senior management and assume primary responsibility for actualizing any take-aways form those meetings;

Draft continuing grant applications and year end reports for the division’s contracts and manage the reporting calendar to ensure deadlines are met;

Attend all RFP meetings, conducting baseline research and data analysis to prep management team in advance of the meetings and assisting with key components of the RFP drafts;

Manage the schedule of post-award meetings and schedule workflow meetings with Development and EQI teams;

Accurately draft all monthly contract critical indicators and submit to supervisor for final approval;

Maintain a strong working knowledge of the policies and procedures of the unit’s various contracts and use data analysis and quality checks to ensure staff adherence;

Obtain feedback from team members on how daily work experiences tie into P&Ps; work with senior director to maximize workflow;

Compile and analyze statistical data for the purpose of monitoring and reporting on program performance;

Supervise one or more administrative employees within the Behavioral Health division;

Familiarizes oneself with EHR policies and procedures;

Attend in-house and outside training sessions;
