Accounting Assistant 2 - Accounts Payable (Remote)

Job Description

A day in the life…

• Research and analyze supplier accounts to ensure accurate payment processing.
• Process invoices and receipts efficiently, verifying amounts and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve discrepancies and address supplier inquiries.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all transactions and communications.
• Prioritize workload effectively to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
• Utilize accounting software and other tools to streamline invoice processing and payment tasks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable functions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You own this if you have…

• Prior experience with Oracle AP, Oracle AR and Discoverer a plus
• Passing score on the Financial Math Test
• Proficiency in 10-key
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 1-2 years of equivalent training and job-related experience preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$17.00 - $30.00 Hourly

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
