The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for supporting the QA department to ensure Deployed Services' established quality standards are achieved. This role involves assisting in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies, performing regular audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Assurance Associate works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in creating, updating, and enforcing QA policies and procedures to ensure consistent product quality
• Support the development of testing plans, conduct inspections, and audit processes to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development lifecycle
• Identify potential quality issues and assist in developing solutions to mitigate risks
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications
• Track key metrics and provide reports to leadership regarding quality performance and improvements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, or root cause analysis to improve processes and reduce defects
• Provide training to staff on quality standards, best practices, and new processes or tools.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of program objectives, policies, procedures, and requirements for managing a secure detention or correctional facility
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes, testing methods, compliance methodologies, and industry standards
• Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop solutions for improvement.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments
• Familiarity with quality management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Jira, or other QA tools).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Understanding of business functions
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Two plus years’ experience in quality assurance or related field
• One plus years of Data Management and Analytics experience
• Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or PMP Certification is a plus
• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident for at least the past five (5) years to comply with federal regulations
• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)

Requirements of Employment:

• Must provide proof of negative TB (tuberculosis) test within the past 12 months or consent to receive a TB screening/vaccination on-site at no cost. Additional recommended vaccinations may be offered at minimal or no cost
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the following screening:
  • Credit check (if applicable and where permitted by law)
  • Motor vehicle record check (if applicable)
  • Drug test
  • Occupational health physical and lift test
  • Criminal and government background checks
  • Signed arbitration agreement and a confidentiality agreement (required of all new hires)
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
• Deployed Services operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
