• Help build the next generation of systems behind Meta's products, create web and/or mobile applications that
  
  reach over two billion people, and build high-volume servers to support content.
• Harness passion for technology,
  
  advanced knowledge, and significant work experience in the industry to help build highly scalable performant
  
  solutions.
• Make use of advanced knowledge of algorithms and core computer science concepts as well as
  
  demonstrated ability to apply knowledge to real world systems.
• Without direct assistance, make the most of ability
  
  to recognize and match patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems and hone skill in
  
  making architectural decisions.
• Employ deep knowledge in at least one area: data processing, programming
  
  languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human computer interaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or Foreign Equivalent). 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 60 months of experience involving the following:
• 1. C, C++, C#, Java, Python, or PHP
• 2. Relational databases and SQL
• 3. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML
• 4. Web Frameworks: React, Node.js
• 5. RPC frameworks: Coral, Thrift, or gRPC
• 6. Designing and implementing restful APls
• 7. Data processing technologies: Apache Airflow, Spark or Presto, Hive
• 8. Distribute cache systems/services (Memcached, ElasticCache or Redis)
• 9. Distributed Databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB or Membase)
• 10. Indexing document with Search related services: Lucene or Alacorn
• 11. Experience with Storage Services (BlobStorage, Warm Storage, or Data Warehouse)
• 12. Experience using serverless computing: Virtual machines, Cloud Computer
• 13. Distributed Message Queue: Kafka, Scribe
• 14. Microservice architecture-based design and implementation
• 15. Experience using Regular Expressions (Regex).
