Work Schedule:  Full Time, Day Shift, 8 am - 4:30 pm: 

The Marketing, Communications & Sales Specialist is a key member of the Marketing & Sales team responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and sales strategies to drive growth and awareness of our comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a passion for promoting employee well-being and a strong understanding of the corporate wellness market.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

Marketing & Communication for new business, as well as existing member organizations (50%)

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and public relations.

  • Create engaging marketing materials such as LinkedIn posts (social media), flyers, website content, case studies and presentations.

  • Manage BCEAP website and social media channels.

  • Track and analyze marketing and communication campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Manage the BCEAP brand identity and messaging in collaboration with NMHS Marketing Department.

Sales & Business Development (30%)

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and communications to acquire new clients in the target market (employers and benefits brokers).

  • Conduct market research and identify potential clients and industry trends.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (e.g. HR professionals, benefits managers, brokers)

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

  • Attend industry events, conference, and networking functions.

  • Track and analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

Client Relations (20%)

  • Provide ongoing support and education to existing clients on BCEAP services and resources.

  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Attend client events such as health and benefits fairs. Also facilitate orientations or other trainings as needed.

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Assist with the development and implementation of internal communication strategies.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in employee well-being.

  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the program.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Mental Health First Aid skills-based training course through the United Way of the Midlands to be completed within first 60 days of employment required.

Experience:

  • 2+ years in marketing and communications, sales and/or business development required, preferably in the employee benefits or healthcare industry.

  • Previous experience in benefits and working with benefit consultants required.

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms required.

License/Certification:

  • N/A

Skills/Knowledge and Abilities:
