About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director or Sr. Director of Acquisition to lead a team in developing and executing successful lead-to-policy conversion strategies across all lines of business and in collaboration with our field sales team(s). The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, data-driven marketer, and experienced team leader.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisition strategy for GEICO’s insurance products that drives incremental growth in customers and multi-policy sales.

  • Lead a team of growth and journey marketing specialists responsible for lead gen, prospecting and cross-sell, across email, in-app messaging, SMS, other channels, and by leveraging our various field sales teams.

  • Work closely with the Sr. Director, Lifecycle Marketing and Director, Campaign Strategy to align prospecting and acquisition efforts with overall customer lifecycle strategy

  • Work with the marketing analytics team to develop and implement data-driven strategies that increase customer engagement and drive revenue growth. i.e.

    • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for optimization.

    • Develop and implement testing plans to continuously improve quote completion and policy conversion rates

    • Conduct A/B and incrementality testing on acquisition campaigns to optimize performance

  • Monitor and analyze inquiry/quote/cancel pipeline and make data-driven recommendations for improvements

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team and the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in performance and growth marketing, lead gen, lead nurturing

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, winback, and funnel/pipeline growth.

  • Experience running an acquisition funnel that integrates marketing touchpoints with sales and/or call center touchpoints

  • Experience leading through change and developing high-performing teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data to drive insights and decision-making. Knowledge of A/B and incrementality testing methodologies

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with marketing platforms and CRM systems.

  • Insurance, financial services, telecom or subscription-based industry experience a plus.

Location:

  • Remote must travel to Chevy Chase, MD one week/month

Annual Salary

$195,000.00 - $315,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
