About the Team/Role
The Senior Proposal Coordinator is responsible for responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) alongside the mid-market and large-market sellers. The role posted will have an emphasis and focus on Benefits Administration. The Senior Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for assisting mid-market and large-market sellers in various areas (in-office support while the seller travels for finalist presentations, follow-up questions, including consultant calls and presentations (as necessary)), potential travel for enrollment meeting support, managing opportunities in our CRM system and all other duties as assigned. For enterprise opportunities, the Senior Proposal Coordinator will support additional team members with any needed areas of attention during the proposal process; including, but not limited to: questionnaire completion, opportunity overview support, and other areas as required allowing the enterprise proposal team the ability to work closely with sellers on pricing, strategy, and incentives for proposal submission.

Assisting sellers by answering questions and providing education
Handling all inquiries professionally, courteously, and with accuracy
Promoting a favorable image of WEX through positive interactions with all internal WEX staff members and external customers, maintaining their confidence in us
Researching/investigating all inquiries utilizing reference materials
Understanding and applying confidentiality guidelines
Following customer service standards
Working to stay current with industry trends & updates
Occasional educational presentations for new clients; including training opportunities for others
Participating in monthly Sales Team meetings; presenting team updates and learning opportunities where applicable
Traveling up to a maximum of 5-7 times per year
Must possess a high level of emotional intelligence whether on the road or in the office
All other duties as assigned
General Duties:
Maintain policy according to HIPAA
Must be able to maintain confidentiality when using sensitive materials
Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work and schedule
Responding in a timely manner to RFPs (two business days or as stated) and ensuring the proposals are accurate and complete
Requires the general knowledge to execute projects within Responsive and with the ability to quickly pivot and learn other LOBs to support the greater proposal team business units.
Phone calls and emails are to be handled with immediate attention – with a goal of response in under 4 hours
Working efficiently in a team environment
A full understanding of the relationship between the consultants, employers, and Sales and Marketing
The ability to manage the logistics of travel throughout the country. Planning and setting up own travel schedule, reservations and logistics required for meetings.
Experience you'll bring
4-year degree preferred or related work experience
Minimal support needed on strategic opportunities over 1,000+ lives
History of greater proposal team support success
Ability to manage own schedule to meet the needs of the Proposal team
Ability to handle various large projects at once
