THE PLAYER
You will be responsible for effectively providing great customer service by setting tables; adhering to sanitation and safety policies; cleaning and cleaning tables and chairs; completing proper and timely set-up banquet events and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the event spaces.

EVERY DAY, YOU WILL

· Preparer event space for patrons by cleaning tables, chairs, walls, celings, lights and floors prior to setting each table

· Prepare event space for patrons by setting tables with clean utensils, full condiments, napkins, and other necessary dining   needs

· Always look for ways to be productive when there is time to spare

· Remove garbage and recycling from event space when needed and dispose of in appropriate bin

· Confide in the managers if problems with coworkers or guests arise so that appropriate actions can be taken

· Come in promptly and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts, including mandatory meetings

· Follow and abide by all policies written in employee handbook

· Respect your co-workers and managers

· Protect establishment, patrons and co-workers by adhering to sanitation and safety policies

· Sets up and breaks down event space according to event orders as well as maintains cleanliness standards for equipment and facility

· Assemble and arrange conference equipment per event requirements

· Open event spaces for use adjusting lights, sound volumes, and temperature as needed before guests arrive

· Ensure proper use, storage and maintenance of all A/V and event spacer equipment

· Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas

· Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guest to supervisor

· Work with Guest Services to transport any and all items needed for an outdoor event not within the event space and tent areas for outdoor events.

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

YOU WILL BE GREAT AT GERONIMO HOSPITALITY GROUP IF

• Must be 18 years or older
• Refined verbal and written communication
• Work well in a team environment
• Be able to keep up with a fast paced environment
• Be able to carry tray to shoulder weighing up to 30 lbs without assistance
• Stand and/or walk entire shift
• Must be available nights and weekends

Protective Clothing Required: Non-slip shoes
