The Workday Success Plans (WSP) organization is laser-focused on delighting our customers and enhancing their adoption journey - we create programs to help them drive business value from their Workday applications. The team is responsible for delivering a variety of programs and services to our customers ranging from feature demonstrations to full feature deployments.

The WSP Delivery Team provides the micro-consulting components of WSP, mainly our Ask-an-Expert service and Feature Adoption Coaching sessions. Bringing customers together with Workday consulting experts is a cornerstone of the value of WSP and continues to be one of the top reasons customers purchase and renew with WSP subscription.

About the Role

As Director, Center of Excellence for WSP Delivery, you will lead a team accountable for the successful execution of various projects and programs that drive efficiency in the delivery of our micro-consulting services. As a collaborative teammate, you will lead the team to support our consultants in their day-to-day work, collaborate with our operations teams, technology teams, and partner with leadership to drive initiatives.  We’re looking for someone who can lead in a fast-paced software-as-a-service company and can easily adapt in an environment that changes rapidly.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and iterate on a dynamic Talent Development Program to meet the needs of our growing global team in connection with our hiring Location Strategy

  • Drive Automation and Service Delivery Efficiency  including identifying Next Generation Technologies and partnering with other organizations to prioritize and deliver.

  • Own the coordination of Recurring Updates and improvements to published policies, guidelines, and other resources including internal governance models. 

  • Overseeing the Technology Support for our consultants – including, but not limited to:

  • Provide “tier two & three” operational support for Consultants and Queue Leads

  • Create, collaborate on, and clarify business requirements for all systems used by WSP Delivery

  • Manage testing by defining test cases, organize & participate in testing, manage issues tracking

  • Communicate change & update procedures and training materials

  • Strategize and track all Center of Excellence Initiatives – communicating progress and driving timelines.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years as a people leader in an equivalent or related role.
  • Demonstrated program/project management experience in a professional services environment.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Software as a Service.  

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong communications skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
  • Strong multi-tasking, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a demonstrated use of planning strategies and tactics.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Google Drive, PowerPoint, Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
  • Capable of building positive relationships across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Ability to analyze data, reports and dashboards and an eagerness to “dive in” and formulate new insights on how
