Your Career

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver next-generation cloud security service technologies within our Cloud Next Generation Firewall as a Service team. We want passionate engineers who love to architect and code world-class security services on Cloud Providers. We are looking for engineers who bring new ideas in all facets of software development. They are individual leaders who take ownership of their areas of focus and who are driven to solve problems at every level. Your Impact

• Design, develop and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of Cloud NextGen Firewall as a Service
• Ownership of end to end workflow for major components of the service in its first release
• Opportunity to drive collaboration with internal/external cross-functional efforts to deliver best in quality software
• Open Engineering environment to suggest and improve the development practices
• Collaboratively work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues and build better customer experiences

Qualifications

Your Experience 

• Hands-on programming skills in one - Go or Python
• Experience with cloud-native service development stack, preferably AWS
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Experience building scalable REST/GraphQL API services 
• Ability to explain the design/development rationale behind decisions
• High energy, Learning-mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education:  

• M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent with 1-3 years experience or equivalent military experience required

The Team

Our engineering team is at the core of the NextGen Firewall as a service building Cloud Security services natively on Cloud Providers. Engineers on our team work on all aspects of the management and control plane of the service. This includes, Activation, Onboarding, Configuration, Orchestration, Data, APIs and much more. We need individuals who feel comfortable in ambiguity, excited by the prospect of a challenge, and empowered by the unknown risks facing our everyday lives that are only enabled by a secure digital environment.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $104000/YR - $169500YR.
