In this role your typical starting salary will be $50,000 and you will be eligible for many best-in-class benefits on your first day of employment. The schedule for this role will typically include start times within the 1-5pm range with work during afternoons and into the evening. You can expect days off during the week with your regular schedule including weekends.
As a Hotel Supervisor, you’ll lead a dynamic team responsible for keeping our hotel operations running flawlessly. Supervising the operation of hotel front desk personnel during an assigned shift.
Responsible for overseeing staff training for all hotel functions
Responsible for hotel security measures
Maintains effective communication between various departments and demonstrate team work with other departments as needed.
Maintaining responsibility for all transactions
Directly monitoring, coaching and counseling hotel team as necessary.
Schedules personnel on an assigned shift for duties.
Handling all customer disputes and questions and acting as source of information to all customer inquiries.
Ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to all regulations
Maintaining internal controls resolving errors, or discrepancies.
Able to troubleshoot hotel operational challenges
- Oversees peak business, key result times including but not limited to, customer check-in, check-out, reservations, luggage transportation and special requests.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must have working proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook and Excel.
Minimum six months to a year hotel experience required within high volume industries.
Two years previous supervisory experience preferred.
Possess strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Must have excellent customer service/communication and written skills.
Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer.
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
Must pass background check and MO Gaming License Process.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must be able to work with a team mentality.
Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.
Must have the dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips, 10 key adding machine, money bags, computers, money, etc.).
Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.
