Opportunity with the team
Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced full stack developer to join the OneMSIM Technology team. The individual will work as part of the global development team, which is spread across 4 MSIM sites. The individual will work very closely with the business in designing, developing, and supporting a modern technology platform aimed at supporting Morgan Stanley clients. As a full stack developer, the individual will also work closely with the various business and technology teams in designing and supporting strategic solutions to offer best class technology solutions to our investment teams.

We work with the following technologies:
1. Java and SpringBoot micro-services
2. React UI
3. Elastic Search
4. Working with linux/Unix systems

What You will do:

• Design and develop applications using cited technologies
• Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team's goals.
• Working independently using modern software development practices.
• Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.
• Leading with ideas and innovation.
• Conduct code reviews and assist tech team where required Competencies

What you will bring to the team:

• 3 to 5 years' experience developing applications with cited skill set.
• Solid experience writing unit, component and integration tests.
• Solid experience working with relational database.
• Experience with Java spring boot technology and Java related distributed caching framework
• Experience with React technology
• Experience in SQL
• Experience working with microservices and distributed systems. Experience working directly with end users.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and various financial instruments.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
