Sr. Software Engineer - Remote (Req. #545)

Mindex’s Cloud division is a dedicated group of cloud experts with extensive knowledge of workloads on AWS and Azure. We are an AWS Advanced Services Partner, and specialize in cloud-native application development, application modernization, devops enablement, cloud managed services, cloud migration, and big data and analytics.

We seek a Sr. Software Engineer to work with the front-end development team and database architect, bridging the gap between user experience, 3rd -party vendor integration, and technical implementation. The overarching objective is to deliver a product, solution, workflow, experience for internal customers, and an unparalleled experience for our industry-leading Clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, debug, and maintain complex systems.
• Write unit tests, application code, tooling or other software as needed to satisfy business requirements.
• Write REST Web Services and Angular Applications, especially advanced components such as directives.
• Develop HTML5 and CSS using knowledgeable of deferred patterns (e.g., Promises, Observables).
• Work closely with the scrum master and product owner to understand requirements and design software solutions to satisfy requirements.
• Collaborate with a team of software engineers and testers, using a scrum based agile software development methodology.
• Write technical documentation of system changes in conformance with department standards.
• Maintain awareness of technological developments in computer hardware and software systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Centered Design, Web and Mobile Computing, or related technical field. Experience in place of formal education will be considered.

• Five+ years of C#
• One+ year(s) serverless development
• Three+ years REST API development
• Three+ years of SQL experience (language not SQL Server)
• One+ year leading team of developers (highly desired)
• Working knowledge developing in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
• Strong critical thinking / problem-solving skills and capable of solving multiple parts of complex problems independently and with team members.
• Robust communication and presentation skills.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000 and represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
