General Responsibilities: 

  • Directly supervises two or more employees in the Personal Lines Department; to include hiring, performance reviews and terminations.

  • Establish and monitor workloads, workflows, procedures etc., so as to maintain a high level of customer service.

  • Maintain carrier relationships and keep abreast of market trends, carrier appetites, etc.

  • Serves as the managing agent for some of the larger personal lines clients.

  • Prepare and negotiate fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability for the scope of service and costs associated with the client service agreement.

  • Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company and lead appropriate resources to address the client's needs, including risk and the identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues.

  • Correspond and maintain contact with State Agencies regarding new and renewal business.

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma

  • Property & Casualty license

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Professional demeanor with a friendly outgoing personality

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position

  • Working knowledge of AMS360 and lmageRight
