Responsibilities
- Provide advisory services for Program Management and Owner’s Advisor start-up and implementation for public water and wastewater owners/utilities.
- Mentor staff in Program Management, Owner's Advisor and related areas.
- Assist with client service as it relates to Program Management and Owner's Advisor services
- Lead pursuits for Program Management or Owner's Advisor opportunities
Qualifications
- Industry expert in Program Management and Owner’s Advisor services for public water and wastewater owners/utilities. Must have been in charge of a water and/or wastewater capital program of at least $1 billion in total CIP cost
- Expert in project delivery processes and associated management tools (e.g. project management information systems, etc.)
- Possesses a strong business and financial acumen. Has a deep understanding of public agency organizational structure, internal operations, funding streams, and regulatory compliance requirements for water and wastewater systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Has led program teams of 10+ employees or larger
- Exceptional presentation skills and experience interacting with high-level public officials
- Expert in negotiation, conflict resolution, and coalition building with multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field of study
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years experience with at least five (5) years in an executive management capacity
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Finance, Public Administration, or related field of study
- Certified Project Management Professional
Pay Range
$190,000 to $250,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
