About the Role

Workday is looking for an experienced professional to join the team as a Sales Analytics and Commissions Analyst. You will be a part of a growing Sales Finance team as we support both the Sales and Customer Experience (CX) compensation side of Workday’s business. We’re looking for someone with strong business partnering skills, who is a self-starter, a great communicator and who enjoys collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the quarterly variable compensation process, from calculating payments to providing reports for management review and approval. You will be responsible for accurately applying the terms of our compensation plans and preparing payroll files.

  • Timely investigate and resolve commission and bonus-related inquiries from compensation plan participants, including system access issues, transaction disputes, credits, and payment calculations, among others.

  • Conduct research related to revenue and compensation data validations.

  • Help prepare documentation for SOX and other audits, ensuring all controls are accurately completed.

  • Prepare analyses for quarterly accounting accruals.

  • Active participant in the GTM development cycle during requirement gathering, testing, and production validation process. Also provides scenario analysis and modeling support as needed.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as the CX Design team, Business Finance teams, and other cross functional teams as needed.

  • Support Workmate case inquiries adhering to SLAs.

  • Proactively identify and thoroughly investigate discrepancies, anomalies, or other data inconsistencies and return suggested courses of action to resolve.

  • Experience handling ad hoc requests and responding timely.

About You

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Revenue or Variable Compensation.

  • At least 2 years of experience with ICM tools (Xactly Incent, Varicent, Anaplan, CaptivateIQ, or other online incentive compensation platforms).

  • At least 2 years of experience using Salesforce.

  • Experience participating in the SDLC life cycle (e.g., assisting with testing, requirements, or deployment).

  • Experience supporting internal/external audits and maintaining SOX-related controls.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field preferred.

  • Experience with the order-to-cash process is a plus.

  • Software and/or internet industry experien
