JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for completing daily scheduled cycle counts and audit, maintain inventory records by keying/recording counting results, working to resolve variances and assisting with the tracking, tagging and auditing of plant fixed assets across the region.
Essential Functions

- Manage effectively so that the cycle counts are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintains clear, concise, and detailed records of all counting activities. Provide monthly results. Investigate and develop remedial steps to improve accuracy.
- Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams, including those from purchasing, sales, planning, finance and the warehouse to settle and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Identify inventory discrepancies thru root cause analysis and provide corrective action resolutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize cost effectiveness
- Maintain multiple SAP Inventory Modules
- Provide assistance to warehouse operations as needed.
- Travel to multiple sites to count / audit / tag plant fixed assets.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
- Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical Capacity
- Working knowledge of SAP WM or equivalent warehouse management systems
- Able to work independently with some direction or in a group environment
- Superior organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain focus in a fast-past environment

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The employee will be required to perform duties on a computer terminal. The employee may be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. Position requires up to 20% travel to multiple locations.

Required Education and Experience
Associates Degree
2-5+ years of relevant experience
Base Pay Range
The base pay range for this role is $55,600- $83,400 USD. The company reasonably expects to pay within that range, however, New York Air Brake considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
