Project Overview:

Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jeferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects.

Job Summary:

Leads overall planning & schedule development, analysis and reporting efforts for the project. Responsible for understanding the complete project scope, project schedule objectives as well as supporting and maintaining a plan and schedule to accomplish the same. Leads planning and coordinating schedule interfaces with the owner, vendors and subcontractors. Leads the timely preparation and update of detailed execution schedules, resource utilization plans and progress tracking systems. Supports the integration of all activity sequences & logics with the total project plan. Supports accurate schedules, resource, quantities, progress, and performance reporting. Continually monitors critical and near critical path work and communicates issues for mitigation. Proactively assesses progress, completion forecasts and provides solutions to mitigate schedule delays or to optimize project completion. Evaluates project progress against historical indicators and provides comparative analysis. Leads the implementation of construction scheduling & progress metrics and monitoring systems. #LI-ML1

 

Major Responsibilities:

• Prepares schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations
• Establishes and maintains the schedule for a specific discipline area or specialty
• Performs schedule development duties to include establishing the work breakdown structure (WBS), determining the work activity duration, establishing the proper workflow logic ties, and developing the required job expenditure
• Performs schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating functions for specific applications, disciplines, or specialties
• Develops critical path schedule reports and schedule performance metrics 
• Determines critical-path activities for assigned discipline or specialty work activities supporting interdisciplinary requirements
