You analyze, plan, and shape – ensuring our business decisions are data-driven, transparent, and future-proof. In close collaboration with various departments, you’ll make a measurable impact on our business success.<br/><br/></p> <h3>Your Tasks</h3> <ul><li>Independently analyze and interpret large volumes of financial and operational data (Big Data) to identify revenue and cost drivers, margin structures, and optimization potential</li><li>Own the development and implementation of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for our tour operator</li><li>Build and continuously improve KPIs and performance management tools to support growth and profitability</li><li>Apply financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and pricing strategies</li><li>Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and models using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI</li><li>Prepare decision memos for senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations based on key metrics and trends</li><li>Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Procurement, and Finance to align financial and strategic goals</li><li>Support month-end and year-end closings in coordination with the Accounting team</li></ul> <h3>What you bring</h3> <ul><li>A university degree in Finance, Controlling, or a comparable qualification – MBA is a plus</li><li>5–7+ years of relevant experience in controlling, ideally in the travel or e-commerce industry</li><li>Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data (Big Data) and a strong understanding of economic interdependencies</li><li>Solid knowledge in financial reporting (including cash flow) and company-wide financial performance management</li><li>Strong experience in financial modeling, scenario planning, and working with data analysis and planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, LucaNet or similar)</li><li>Clear, structured communication style – even when dealing with complex financial topics</li><li>Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken</li><li>A high level of ownership, a hands-on mindset, and strong team spirit</li></ul> <h3>Our “All Inclusive Package” for you</h3> <strong>Worka</strong><strong>tion &amp; Flexibility </strong><br/><ul><li><span><span>20 days</span><span> of workation within the EU – work where others go on vacation</span></span></li><li><span><span>60/40 hybrid model: two office days for collaboration &amp; team spirit, three days remote</span></span></li><li>Flexible working hours – early bird or night owl?
