ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee all banquet functions
- Check side work
- Assist in coaching of team members
- Approach all encounters with guest and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Effectively manage time
- Assists banquet supervisor in activities relating to banquet department
- Display knowledge of food preparation and service
- Set up banquet rooms for functions
- Know basic bar terminology and wine service
- Know food preparation and service
- Display knowledge of opening and closing procedures
- Comply at all times with QBR&C standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations
- Maintain a neat and organized work area
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally) While performing these job duties, the employee is regularly required to:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to be on feet for long periods of time

Qualifications
Required:
- Two years banquet experience and/or one year food & beverage supervising.
- Knowledge of banquet set ups
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- Liquor intoxication control training
- Good communication skills with workers
- Must have ability to work all kinds of functions
- Ability to meet deadlines as required
- Adjust to schedule changes and cover shifts on short notice
Preferred:
- Servsafe training
- CPR certification
