About the role:
SOLARCYCLE is establishing a specialized pilot plant to recycle end-of-life solar panels and is looking for a motivated Production Plant Trainer to join our team in Odessa, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our production, mobility, and maintenance workers. The training shall encompass hands-on and classroom components. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and quality standards within the plant.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement training programs in English and Spanish for production and assembly workers, both on-the-job and in classroom settings.
- Conduct training sessions on equipment operation, safety protocols, quality standards, and production processes in English and Spanish.
- Assess training needs by collaborating with supervisors and managers to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and documentation.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees to ensure skill retention and application.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve training methods.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards during training sessions.
Education, Training and Professional Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in training production personnel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide personalized training.
- Proficiency in training software and tools.
- Knowledge of production processes and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
