The GFS Intern is responsible for reporting and analysis, problem resolution and root cause analysis.  They will also have extensive interaction with all areas of the company including finance, sales, distribution, pricing, and marketing.  She/he will become a valued member of our Global Financial Services team, who oversees the Shared Services functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities for Federal-Mogul Powertrain.  We strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Problem resolution and root cause analysis.
• Investigate accounts receivable payment discrepancies, claims processing, and dispute resolution based on departmental process flows.
• Extract and manipulate SAP data.
• Complete Ad hoc assignments.
• Conduct reporting and analysis.
• Interact with other areas of the company including finance, sales, distribution, pricing, and marketing.
• Assist with departmental audit.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: 

• Pursing a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
