And through diversity, we have harnessed the power of people while also understanding and embracing the importance of humanities.<strong>Our People</strong>At IE we are</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>People-driven</li> <li>Change Builders</li> <li>Autonomy Enthusiasts</li> <li>Communication Enthusiasts</li> <li>Knowledge Champions</li> </ul> <p><strong>We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid.</strong></p> <p> </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Your role as Senior Specialist, Climate Change will involve:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparation of technical reports on barriers and solutions needed in the aforementioned sectors, from a multi-stakeholder point of view.</li> <li>Analysis of regulations related to climate change, identifying possible knots and recommendations for each of the actors involved in the same, particularly the private sector.</li> <li>Participate in events organized by Alinnea and other organizations presenting the results of the analyses performed.</li> <li>Contribute to Alinnea's data analysis needs.</li> <li>Follow up on Alinnea's strategic communication plan.</li> <li>Develop specific communications for key social and economic sectors for Alinnea's activity within and outside the climate community. including writing news articles, press releases and others.</li> <li>Contribute to the organization of Alinnea events from a strategic communication point of view.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>To thrive in this role, you should have:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>The candidate must have at least <strong>10 years of experience in working on the climate agenda, either from a public policy development point of view, business strategy development or in the development and implementation of strategic communication and advocacy plans in this field.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>It is important to have worked in different sectors linked to the climate agenda (mobility, industry, energy, finance, food and others)</p> <p>We are looking for a person who:</p> <ul> <li>Has a demonstrated interest and experience in the climate change agenda.</li> <li>Is capable of preparing technical reports on climate action in the above sectors, analyzing economic and social factors that can promote the competitiveness of the sector at the international level and integrating elements related to just transition.</li> <li>Has had professional relationships with different actors (civil society, private sector, public sector, academia) relevant to the climate agenda.</li> <li>Has the capacity to develop effective advocacy plans with different actors in the public, private and social sectors.</li> <li>Has experience in the development of strategic communication campaigns linked to climate action and based on data analysis.</li> <li>Has participated in advocacy activities (journalism or public affairs) related to the climate agenda.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Academic background:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Professional in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Economics, International Relations, Communication Sciences with master studies in environmental policy and economics, clean industry, sustainable finance, climate change and related fields</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of Spanish and English (written and spoken, minimum C1), other languages will be an asset.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other knowledge:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Knowledge in the following subjects wi
