Sr. Web Developer

<p>Productboard is seeking a skilled <strong>Full Stack Website Developer </strong>to join our team. As our Web Developer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our brand narrative on productboard.com and sub-domains. You will be responsible for the website codebase and workflow across various channels, working collaboratively with <strong>marketing, design, and engineering teams</strong>. Your daily activities will include patching and maintaining existing websites, engineering UI components that scale over time, translating UX documentation into code, developing user-friendly and responsive websites, troubleshooting and debugging website issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.</p> <p>The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in <strong>web development and user interface design, </strong>with a wealth of experience in agency-like environments that require working with different stakeholders. Additionally, you should have expertise in WordPress, PHP development, front-end technologies (including JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5), and third-party libraries such as ReactJs (or NextJs). Experience with version control systems such as Git, application deployment and hosting, Agile methodologies, and website optimization techniques would be beneficial.</p> <p>To be successful in this role, you should be passionate about web technologies, <strong>have an eye for UX design,</strong> and be able to assess, mitigate, and respond to risks and challenges in design and implementation. Finally, familiarity with Next.js, Typescript, Builder.io development, Storybook (or Supernova), and Atomic Design System would be advantageous.
