About the Role

 

Lead onsite HR execution for the St Paul facility. This role is operational, employee facing, and accountable for day to day HR delivery. The HR Manager partners closely with centralized functions while owning local implementation, manager support, and employee experience.

 

 

What You’ll Do

 

 

  • Serve as the primary onsite HR contact for employees and leaders. Handle day to day employee relations matters, including intake, fact gathering, documentation, and recommendations. Partner with the ER and Compliance Manager on investigations, escalations, and corrective action to ensure consistency and risk alignment.
  • Support performance management, attendance, conduct, and policy application at the site. Coach supervisors on early intervention, documentation standards, and appropriate issue escalation.
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts in partnership with the in-house recruiting team. The HR Manager supports hiring managers locally, facilitates interviews, manages onsite logistics, and ensures smooth onboarding, while the recruiting team owns sourcing, offers, and hiring process governance.
  • Administer and coordinate leaves of absence through NYLIFE. Serve as the onsite point of contact for employees and managers, ensure timely submission of information, track status, and support return to work and reintegration.
  • Oversee HR administration for the site including personnel files, HRIS accuracy, compliance, audits, and required reporting. Partner with payroll and benefits teams to resolve issues and ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure site level compliance with Department of Labor requirements and applicable federal and state employment laws. Partner with the ER and Compliance Manager on audits, agency inquiries, and corrective actions.
  • Deliver HR related training at the site including harassment prevention, policy rollouts, and manager basics. Reinforce corporate HR programs and standards locally.
  • Support safety initiatives, engagement efforts, and culture building activities in partnership with site leadership.

 

 

Additional Expectations

 

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Five to seven years of experience in a site-based HR Manager role. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations and compliance. 
  • Comfortable operating in a collaborative HR model.
