Position Overview:
The PAC Group is seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Specialist to oversee and enhance our inventory accuracy and quality standards within our Virginia Beach operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that inventory records are precise and that our products meet stringent quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, quality assurance processes, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain and improve inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet company and client standards. Address and rectify any quality issues promptly.
- Data Analysis: Analyze inventory and quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement. Develop and present reports to management with actionable recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine inventory control and quality assurance processes. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all inventory and quality procedures comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain thorough documentation for audits and reviews.
Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to warehouse staff on inventory control and quality assurance procedures. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, quality assurance, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
