Director of Energy Services Integration

We are looking to add a Director of Energy Services Integration to our expanding Energy Services group. This role is key in driving collaboration across departments to identify cross-selling opportunities within the energy sector.

We are seeking a proactive, strategic individual with strong communication skills who can bridge the gap between technical teams, sales, and marketing. This person will develop energy solutions and narratives for our customers, leveraging energy market trends and data.

JOB DUTIES

Internal Collaboration & Cross-Selling:

• Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and engineering to identify potential cross-selling opportunities for energy solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams to ensure effective communication and execution of energy-related opportunities.
• Provide strategic insights into energy markets and trends to identify new product offerings and partnerships based on Federal, state, and utility energy efficiency incentives.

Energy Calculations & Technical Support:

• Collaborate with technical teams on energy consumption, efficiency, and cost calculations to ensure accurate data is used for internal and external communications.
• Serve as a resource for internal teams by explaining energy performance metrics and incorporating energy-related data into sales pitches, proposals, and marketing materials.
• Analyze customer energy data and recommend energy solutions that offer cost savings or sustainability gains.

Storytelling & Value Proposition Development:

• Leverage energy data and trends to craft compelling narratives around energy solutions, assisting internal teams in communicating value to customers.
• Partner with marketing to create case studies, presentations, and content that emphasize the impact of energy solutions.
• Provide tools and training to sales teams for presenting energy solutions confidently.

Strategic Partnerships:

• Support the development and management of strategic partnerships in the energy sector, identifying new business opportunities.
• Act as the internal energy ambassador to ensure alignment with broader business strategies and goals.

Continuous Improvement:

• Evaluate and improve energy strategies, tools, and offerings to stay competitive and innovative in the market.
• Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes to enhance the effectiveness of cross-selling energy solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in energy management, business development, or sales with a track record of managing complex projects and partnerships.
• Strong understanding of energy markets and the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in developing business cases and value propositions based on data.
