Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States. 

 

Pay: $34,416.98 - $36,402.86 Annually

 

Position Summary:  This position reports directly to the Program Specialist. Work assignments are received from the Program Specialist and Director. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Three years of secretarial or clerical work experience; or

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent and 1 year of secretarial/administrative experience.

  • College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience; or

  • Vocational/technical training in an area of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for each year of the required work experience.

     

The Work You Will Do: The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Provides administrative and clerical support for training staff by processing paperwork for FCPTI training courses.  
  • Performs administrative duties for the Prevention Conference, as needed.
  • Archives Bureau’s administrative records and files.
  • Daily answers and checks voicemail for FCPTI must answer line.
  • Properly routes telephone calls and responds to requests by phone and e-mail for general information about training programs and other bureau functions.
  • Assists Assistant Bureau Chief with special projects.
  • Performs related duties as necessary.
  • These duties may involve extended work hours and/or travel outside the work site.
  • All Other duties as requested.
