About the role

Job Summary 

The SCM Data Analyst – Compliance & Reporting plays a vital role in supporting the organization's data-driven decision-making process. This role contributes to the analysis and interpretation of complex healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. This role will work closely with senior analysts and business stakeholders across various departments to provide data-driven recommendations and support data-related projects. 

Essential Functions

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, industry standards and internal policies.
  • Collection, validation, cleansing, and maintenance of data to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address data security risks.
  • Maintain documentation of data management processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Writes and executes SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
  • Develops and delivers regular reports summarizing key findings and performance indicators.
  • Contributes to data-related projects by assisting senior analysts with tasks such as data preparation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., clinicians, administrators, business leaders) to address data-related questions and challenges.
  • Identifies key trends and patterns in healthcare data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Clinical area, Engineering, Business, or Information Systems from an accredited college or university required
  • 1-3 years experience in data analytics, healthcare operations, program management, or relevant support services required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in oral/written presentations
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint software
  • SQL experience
  • Previous experience with Supply Chain is preferred
  • Experience in AP vendor partnerships
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, pivot tables, and general ledger 
  • Ticketing system experience, such as MySource or ServiceNow
