As a C# software engineer, you will build applications and processes to help drive business growth. This position requires strong programming skills, analytical thinking, and a passion for learning. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop and improve software systems.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Design, code, test, and support reliable, robust software applications and services that meet high quality standards  

• Participate in cross-functional feature requirements gathering, design, and implementation  

• Collaborate with product management to prioritize and organize development sprints  

• Perform code reviews and provide timely, constructive feedback to fellow engineers  

 

Key Qualifications  

• 2–5 years of experience in C# programming (.NET Core)  

• Strong background in object-oriented programming, algorithms, logic, and statistics  

• Experience using data types and databases (MySQL preferred; SQL/Postgres also valuable)  

• Regularly applies design patterns, contributing to best practices and process enhancements  

• Embraces and enforces BlackRock’s SDLC and information security standards  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field  

 

Desirable Criteria  

• Experience with AWS  

• Experience using Confluence, JIRA, and other Atlassian tools  

• Experience developing and automating solutions for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and infrastructure automation
