Hourglass is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our sales team as a Residential Artist, based out of the Nordstrom NYC Flagship store. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for beauty and aesthetics, with expertise in both makeup application and eyebrow shaping. Your role will involve providing personalized beauty services to customers, promoting products, and enhancing the overall shopping experience while upholding the brand image.

WHAT YOU DO:

• Drive retail sales by providing sales support and clientele. Hands-on sell through role.
• Support in-store team achieve sales plan for Nordstrom.
• Support CM, AE while respecting retailer leadership guidelines.
• Educate, inspire and build relationships with retailer in store team.
• Establish strong store relationships with clients.
• Maintain and build active client book.
• Demonstrate the highest level of leadership and professionalism, always upholding the brand’s image while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
• Achieve sales goals while delivering the highest levels of client service.
• Support Business Manager on all events, counter maintenance, visual merchandising updates, stock assessment & sales goals.
• Act as Business Manager in their absence.
• Leader in brand Service initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience in retail cosmetics.
• Expert level experience in makeup application.
• Goal-driven with strong communication skills.
• Ability to attract prospective clients and initiate sales.
• Outgoing and personable.
• Flexible and dependable with the ability to work varying schedules (including weekends and holidays).
• Previous clientele is a plus.

The expected base hourly range for this position is $28.00 to $31.00 per hour. The exact hourly salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is commission eligible.
